This is a simple blues that I used to pull out when I was playing my acoustic guitar at parties. There's a blues for just about every subject, so why not Mickey Mouse? When I got around to recording it, I wanted a dixieland jazz band kind of a sound, so I programmed all the horns and extra parts. This is the only tune I've recorded that has a Tuba. How many other pop songs do you know that include a Tuba? I would have loved to hire a real jazz band, but I think the sequenced arrangement came out reasonably well. Plus, the computer works cheap.
This is the only song of mine that has it's own dance step. This is referred to when I mention "not to be confused with the Rudolph the Red Noses Reindeer Blues". Flap your hands around your ears and you'll get the idea. I submitted MM Blues to a friend of mine who works for Radio Disney. They said no thanks. Guess I won't be Disney's next big teeny bopper idol. Oh well...
